Just a quick post today. One day I’ll start posting more and using this site for what I had intended it for… A daily vent.

Anyway, Florida’s Democratic Primary election… HA! There goes another election that my vote doesn’t mean a thing.

You just have to love politics.

I bet you are saying to yourself right now, “why the hell would someone start a blog called Blog’n Idiot??”. Well, I’ll tell you. This is to be an outlet for not only me, but for anyone that may want to leave a comment, about some of the stupid things that go on. Not only stupid things, but stupid people. I might even bring in a guest from time to time to tell you about the stupid things and people in their lives. Sometimes you might see some random stuff off of the top of my head, sometimes it will be political, sometimes religious (that’ll be fun!) and sometimes I might just turn on the news to get a good story, which brings me to…What prompted me to start this blog? I’ll tell you…

I was sitting and watching the local news one night, which by the way, is NOT something I normally do, and along comes this very sad story of a few kids that were out on a boat in a canal. The kids were out on the boat, without life jackets and the boat capsized (tipped over for those of you that are a little slow). Now at this point you are probably saying to yourself, “why the hell would their parent let them out on a boat without life jackets if they can’t swim??”, which is the exact thing I was thinking. It gets better (or worse depending on how you want to look at it). The kids’ uncle quickly dove into the canal to save the kids’ lives (what a brave man and deserves a metal!), but, according to the news, he wasn’t a real strong swimmer either! So he gets out to the kids and they grab him and he goes under and drowns. Another person dove in as well and saved all of the kids (which is great).

So how do we have such great detail about what happened? Well, the eye witnesses of course! One man said, “I was watching the whole thing…”, which made me think, “why the hell didn’t you jump in the water to help this HERO of a man that died trying to save children… And why the hell didn’t YOU try to save the children??” All I kept thinking to myself was, “what a fucking idiot!!” For two solid days I thought about this story and all I could think is “what a fucking idiot!”

I needed an outlet; I needed to speak my mind and wanted people to hear me. Whether or not people listen to me is another issue all together, but at the very least, I wanted a blog to get things off of my chest.

Obviously I couldn’t call my blog fuckingidiot.com (because it is obviously taken!!), and what kind of imagination would that take? So with a little thought, along came blognidiot.com.
